One of the ways a mother shows her love for her baby is getting up in the middle of the night to feed him when he or she cries. I believe in a similar way, one of the ways a woman can show her man how much she loves him, is to lovingly get out of bed (or atleast make the offer) to make him a midnight snack the minute she finds out he is hungry. I'm just curious to see how many women do this.

I'll be happy to serve him anything that he wants. If he is hungry, I don't care how late it is, I'll serve him anything that he pleases. Are you hungry, sweetie? Let me serve you something, my lord.

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Not me and i have been married for 35 yrs! If hubby is ill, not a problem; however, if he is not...he has the right to eat anything I have prepared in that frig.! I keep food cooked up and plenty of fruit and veggies cleaned just for snacking. So, if he wants it...go get it!

You are right about the baby thing! But, my hubby is five yrs. my senior and he is very capable of opening the frig. door for himself...he passed the toddler stage many years ago!

The mother does it for her baby because it is not capable of getting it's own snack.

An adult male, however, is quite capable of getting his a** out of bed and fixing himself a snack. If I was awake, I might offer to do it, but if I am half asleep or god forbid, asleep and he wakes me up to inform me he's hungry, there's no way I'm offering to get him anything.

Here's the deal: When he has a 3 am wake up time, and we just finished romping at 9, I make sure he has whatever he wants to eat.

When he doesn't have a 3 am wake up, we all eat dinner together.

Oh, the old Lord of the Manor routine.

You have no idea how to treat a woman.

You are an embarrassment to real men.

If she gets pregnant you are off, right?

Sorry, probably not. I have to get up and go to work in the morning, too. Not to mention coming home after work and cooking dinner, cleaning up, doing laundry, taking care of the bills, etc. I need to sleep!

You know if I am awake I don't mind fixing both of us a midnight snack.

I do. Admittedly. If he's had a hard day and even mentions the words "I'm kind of hungry," I immediately start listing off tempting snacks and kibs I can make him, if he's interested. He never tales me up on it, but you know I think he secretly appreciates it. :)
