you should. You can designate which organs you would like to donate, you just need to fill out a card. You never know the lives that you could save, could even be a loved one.

hey huni! good on ya my lovely! kk, here's the deal, you can choose to be an organ donor and they'll take everything when you die, but you can almost pick and mix if you wish, such as, not my heart and eyes, but everything else, if you see what i mean. then, they'll either be used straight away or put in storage until they an be used to save lives. I don't know any website to head, but i just wen on a search engine, they give you all the info you'll need. I think it's awesome, I'm a donor too and i'm only 17, so? i know what i want to do to help, we're young, not stupid right!!!! yay lol!!! good for you, you ave a great mind sweetie! hope all goes well for ya xx

You asked yourself if you are to young to consider being an organ donor but in reality you shouldn't ask yourself that, instead ask yourself if you think you are ready to possibly save someones life. I do not think anyone is to young to consider saving a life.Think of someone you love. Naturally you want that person to live as long as possible so in death you can continue the course of life and the course of love for someone else. Search your feelings and you'll make the right decision because in this case there is no wrong answer and no bad choice.

What an insightful question! I don't think you are too young to make such a serious decision. You have made some very valid points as to why you should be a donor. I am not sure about what happens medically, but I don't think they pass over your organs because there isn't a perfect match.

do it....
there are thousands of people who die every day because they need an organ... kidney, liver, heart, something... all they need is a compatible donor. yes eyes too. imagine being blind and someone giving you the gift of sight. how awesome....
none of your organs are used unless there is a compatible donor who can accept the organ in time for it to be used...
when a body is prepared for buriel all the organs are removed by the funeral home anyhow and destroyed. the body cavity is stuffed with a cotton like substance and filled with a fluid for embalming... your organs are wasted in death... give them to someone alive who can use them.
the real gift that keeps on giving.

It is really up to you. I think it is a nice thing to do, now that you mention it, I think I might look into it too.Maybe you should pray about it, that is what I will do. Have a nice night!

I would wait a bit longer. But it's good that you're doing something to help Earth.
