can anyone help me get my playstation 3 working with my bt home hub been on the phone to bt for 4 hours and they dont have a clue what they are talking about. They managed to set my device to x box live and they didnt even know what a ps3 is dying to go online been trying for over a week now. not great with computers so if some one could explain it simply for me It would be much appreciated so please please help.

Simple explanation - the BT Home Hub is rubbish.

They are cheaply made, notoriously unreliable, drop connections and cause static on the phone. You will have to get a replacement from BT, but you may need to get 3 or 4 replacements until they supply you with one that actually works, I'm afraid.

(Been there, done it, went back to my old ADSL modem...)

No, I can't - the kids would love a PS3 but we'll wait till the price goes down!
