C = circumference (distance around a circle)
r = radius
pi approx = 3.1416
C = 2(pi)r
31.416 = 2(3.1416)r
divide both sides by 2(3.1416)
r = 2

while they say x & y intercept, all you could desire to do is discover the component at which the line touches the x - axis (for x - intercept) and the component at which it touches the y - axis (y - intercept). to discover the component on a line the place it would touch the y - axis, the x coordinate might could be 0 (think of roughly it, its exceptionally ordinary). And for a component to the touch the x - intercept the y coordinate might could be 0. shall we are saying we are to discover the y-intercept for the 1st one. y = x/2 situations 6 ==> can simplify y = 6x/2 y = 3x --> now to discover y intercept, sub x as 0 y = 3(0) y = 0 --> subsequently your y intercept is on the beginning (0,0) now for x intercept y = 3x --> sub y as 0 0 = 3x x = 0/3 x = 0 --> subsequently x intercept is likewise on the beginning (0,0) notice: if between the intercept is on the beginning, the different one would be besides. you additionally can do your way, with making a table, yet undergo in thoughts while making a table, continually use the two +ive, -ive and nil as values. i like to circulate from -3 to 3, such as the 0. you could now do the 2nd. The third question is looking while will the two traces meet, so all you're able to do is make the two traces equivalent one yet another! unique eqns: y = 2x+a million y = 6x+3 --> re-arranged 2x+a million = 6x+3 --> remedy for x, then plug the x returned in to any of the two unique eqns, to acquire the y cost.

Circular path = circumferance
formula to find circumfrance= PiD
so to find the diameter= C/Pi
31.416/3.1416= 10
D/2=R
10/2= <5>
there u go
hope it helped

Circumference of circle is 31.416m
The equation to find circumference is 2 x (pie) x r (where r is radius of circle and pie = 3.14)
so 2 x (3.14) x r = 31.416
therefore r = 31.416 / 2 x (3.14)

Circumference = 2πr
You already have the circumference given
31.416 = 2πr
2πr = 31.416
r = 31.416/(2π)
r = 5 m
.

ok pi=3.14159265358979 if i remember from that song... oh well. circumference is equal to r2*pi but if we do the inverse we would get r2 or d is equal to c/pi so if we wanted to figure this out we'd have to do this (c/pi)/2 in which equals radius!
here it is mathematically...
c=2pi*r
solve for r
r=c/2pi
so plug 31.416 in...
r=31.416/(2*3.14159265358979)
r=31.416/6.28318530717958
r=5.000011692175
