"It's amazing the efforts the administration is going to stonewall this," Wyden said. "The American people have a right to know what the Central Intelligence Agency was doing in those critical months before 9/11.... I am going to bulldog this until the public gets it."

You know, with all the conspiracy theories and questions leading up to 9/11 you would think the CIA and Bush would want to come clean, but they don't. So, what are they hiding!

If you want to get rid of endless questioning and conspiracies, wouldn't you just provide the truth and end it? But no, this goes on and on like they are stalling until Bush gets out of office.

Now Wolfowitz, the architechof the Iraq war is resigning.

Why is it that anyone involved with the Iraq war or 9/11 is under investigation or is being hammered by the Senate -coincidence - I think not

I mean everyone from Bank President all the way to Bush

Does the loss of Wolfowitz hurt the New World Order?

Good point. I've always thought that people in high offices should do nothing that requires a cover-up, yet we see this sort of thing again and again. How can they expect us to trust them when they don't want anyone to know what they're really doing? I've seen the same thing even in the leadership of local clubs, so it seems to be becoming the American way and that's sad.

about 9/11, 2001; maybe the intelligence community missed it. They didn't know what they were looking for. By law, certain intelligence agencies were not suppose to share information so that politicians could not use the FBI or CIA to spy on political enemies.
The Bush Administration does not want to be blamed for just letting the attack on New York from happening. That is just politics.
This is a political game. The republicans tried to impeach Bill Clinton because he had an intimate affair with a young woman, which had nothing to do with the government.
When the Republicans got power, they did not let the democrats easily question what the Republicans in Congress did or what the Bush Administration did.
This is about power. When the Democrats took over Congress, they began asking all the questions that the Republicans had made it hard for the Democrats to ask.
Many Democrats wondered if going to war in Iraq was a good idea at the time. So now the democrats are asking the republicans to explain why we needed to go to war then.
This is what happens in Washington. The party out of power can only do so much to complain. Whether right or wrong, when things change, all the old questions get asked all over again.

Do you think most senators can keep a secret especially when leaking it to the press would help them get re-elected?

Do you think there possibly could be something the CIA knows that you do not need to know, since we all know you cannot keep a secret, and then of course there is the media, whatever they know they tell the world including our enemies with no fear of consequence.

I'm always amazed at the utter ignorance of people about the term "national secrets".

Even if it was released, with all the information that could be dangerous to us taken out, certain senators would still complain, insisting it all become public knowledge.

Why would a U.S. Senator want sensitive documents made public knowledge? Why would anyone support them?

Some of us have chosen sides in WWIII.
I have.

So have you.

likely they have been given snookered by using the outright lies which you hit upon on the internet approximately 9/11 being an "interior activity." notwithstanding, what 7 CIA adult adult males think of isn't relevent while in comparison with all the printed evaluations of scientists & specialists, which say it become no longer an interior activity. I regarded on the link approximately those adult adult males. they're nicely commonly used conspiracy advocates & written plenty on the subject. a number of those adult adult males are making the same old incorrect scientific arguments relating to the fall down & the pentagon. actual scientists have already settled this debate.

Well, they knew Osama was planning something big. There were warnings about coming attack, but nobody knew exactly what. Nobody knew it will be plane crash into WTC and Pentagon. Nobody knew this exact plan.

But once they saw planes hit WTC everybody in CIA knew that it was Bin Laden. CIA knew something was coming, but they were powerless to stop it.
