The hydrandea "tree" is probably the best choice. Hydrandeas are most well known as a perennial plant the comes in beautiful blue, pink or white flowers. But there's also hydrandea tree that blooms just as well in mid summer and is an amazingly beautiful plant to see in full bloom.
