Everyone needs to stop bringing up the past and look at the present teams with the rosters they have. With all that being said the Colts are the better team. Their offense is more dominant than the Patriots and their defense will still filled with question marks proved last year in the playoffs they have potential. Comparing Manning to Brady is almost a pointless endeavor with that said the Colts WR core is STACKED will the Patriots have Cancer Moss and his surrounding cast of average wideouts who have almost no chemistry working together. If it werent for genius Bill the Colts would be by far taking the cake on this debate but because of him and his schemes and experience the Colts only have the slightest of advantages. On a side note the Colts are only going to beat the Patriots once this year because they wont play each other in playoffs. Pats are a 4 seed again and the Colts a 2. Pats lose to the Chargers and Chargers play the Colts for the AFC championship.

Definitly the patriots, everyone just says the colts because they won the Superbowl this year. The patriot's have beaten the colt's in the play-offs EVERY year except for last year. Without Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison, Peyton Manning would not have broken all those records, and wouldn't be a pro bowl player. He is the kind of QB that without his WR, Is not going to play well.

definitely a tough question... the best time to answer that will be the week 9 colts/pats game... the game of the season...
but i agree that u gotta look at the present and at the present colts are the better team. Colts definitely have a better offense.. true, moss and stallworth and welker joined the team... yeah, but they're new to the team, they won't fit in right away. it'll take them time... and well everyone knows the story on moss who knows if he won't bring all the mess to the pats w/ him...
i say colts are, and well the rest is up to the teams... we'll find out week 9 of regular season.

I have to go with the Colts. The Patriots have tried to win a championship in the off-season but this might comeback to hurt them.
We must look to the past to help us predict the future.
The Patriots have always had a great defense but it is getting old. Adalius Thomas was great in the system in Chicago but without Urlacher he must prove himself. The offense is ok but we have to wait and see if Moss will be a cancer or a benefit.
The colts have gotten stronger on the offensive side and we might see them put up record setting numbers this year.
The defense has taken a huge hit but Bill Pollian has always been great in the draft and from early camps Dungy has said he likes what he sees in the defense.

Patriots..Duh.
They just upgraded their WR squad from C- to an A- over one off-season. That was their only weakness. Seriously lol.
The Colts lost one of the most underrated players, Reggie Wayne (right?).
@Meghal S.

Do you know anything about the Patriots? They surely welcome new guys. Seriously, that was one of the stupidest comments I've ever seen. Reche Caldwell doesn't complain, so he won't get pissed off about less receptions. Moss ain't no T.O.. He's a bit overrated, but he'll get the job done, and I am looking at a good 20 point win versus the Colts in Week 9.

Statistically speaking the Patriots,but the colts are classier as a whole than the Pats, and they play with more heart.

The Colts are better. All the Patriots did in this offseason is try to buy back the trophy. Most of their team besides Brady is past their prime.
