Although there are several days of the month in which a woman is fertile, she is most fertile during the days around ovulation. The simplest natural method of predicting ovulation involves simply counting days, although this method is often not very reliable. A better natural method involves using physical signs such as basal body temperature and cervical mucous changes. The body temperature chart is a daily recording of body temperature, which is an indicator of ovulation (body temperature will rise after ovulation). Cervical mucous monitoring involves examining the mucous that is secreted from the cervix, which enables a woman to tell where she is in her cycle and thereby predict the time of ovulation.

You have to know your cycle. You start counting you cycle from the first day of your last period and you are generally most fertile 8-14 days into your cycle. You of course can get pregnant at any time if the timing is right for your body. If you are trying to conceive you may want to purchase some ovulation kits from your local drug store. These can get expensive over time so it's definitely a good idea to understand your cycle so that you can use the ovulation kits when you are most likely ovulating. Good Luck

Check out www.i-am-pregnant.com. On the home page there is a little space where you can enter the dates of your last period in. If your period was about two weeks ago chances are it will say you are ovulating. You can only estimate the days you are ovulating. Unfortunately everyone ovulates differently so it could be a few days off. If you don't want to get pregnant I suggest using a form of contraception. If you do then I wish you the best of luck.

I actually got pregnant by knowing my ovulation cycle! Get a thermometer that reads to the 100th degree (so like 97.56 instead of just 97.5) - I found one at Wal-Greens for like $5. Take your temp every morning at the same time and chart it (they usually come with a chart for you or you can find them online). You will see your temp dip a lot when you are about to ovulate! The trick is that you should have sex right before you ovulate, as you are ovulating, or within a day or so after. So it may take a few months to find a pattern to know when you will ovulate or not. Its pretty neat I think! Google: basal body temperature....

You can get pregnant only when you ovulate..It dont matter what anyone says..the doctor told me that when you ovulate the eggs come down and you have within 72 hours to get pregnant before the eggs die and then your period comes and the blood washes everthing out to try again for the next month. it usually happens within 14 days after your period..he told me to take a ovulation test to make sure of it ( u can buy one at the drug store or a wall mart) and i did the first time it worked im 18 weeks pregnant..but dont get discouaraged f it dont work the first time..And even if the test shows negative and still no period keep checking it took mine 11 days after my missed period before it said positive..i hoped this helped..

sweetie ovulation occurs 10-14 days after your period you are the most fertile for getting pregnant a few days before you ovulate and right after you ovulate because sperm can survive in your vagina for up to 5 days so even if he ejaculates inside you when your not ovulation the sperm wil be alive and waiting inside you till ur egg comes down the fallopian tubes to concieve so have sex around these times and good luck just for a quick tip do not have sex every day though when ur trying to get pregnant because if you do it will decrease your husbands sperm count and they may not be strong enough or mature enough to swim up in your cervix for pregnancy

To track when ovulation occurs, study changes in cervical mucus and use a basal thermometer. Cervical fluid will change to a wet, slippery substance that resembles "egg whites" just before ovulation occurs and until ovulation is over. A basal thermometer helps track a body temperature rise, which signals that ovulation has just occurred.

generally 12-15 days after the FIRST DAY of your last period...so say if you have your period start counting from that day to 12 days ahead...up to 15...sperm can live for 2 days inside you without being fertilized so if you don't get each day it is alright....good luck!!

There is a home test that you can buy that will tell you when you ovulate.
I usually had a sharp pain that was when the egg burst out of the ovary.
