I won’t give a long back story, but here is a little one. I am 18 (19 in July) and healthy. I have not been on birth control for 2 months (long story - don't ask). My boyfriend and I have had sex several times this month but used condoms every time. My period is a day late. I don't want to panic but curious.
So in your opinion, when should I take a pregnancy test?

Serious answers only, please. I don't need a lecture right now. Thanks in advance!

I would wait for a week or so...birth control makes your cycle wacky. A day late is no room for panic. Your body is probably adjusting to its own horomones instead of the birth control. Whenever horomones are messed up, your period will be messed up. If you wanted to make sure you are not pregnant you can take the test right now, just wait until morning when you first wake up. There is a pregnancy test that lets you know you are pregnant 3-5 days before your missed period...could possibly be e.p.t., not sure. Just read the labels to see when they suggest taking the test.

After you get off birth control your period might get alittle wacky for alittle bit and wont always come on time. You were using condoms but pregnancy is stilt a slight possibility

I would test soon now if you can. If it comes back negative wait a week. if still no period test again. If its negative again and you dont feel as if your periods about to come make a doctors appointment

If you just started taking the pill it takes 3 month for your cycle to regualte against it, most test aren't accurate for at least 1-2 weeks of being late anyways!

You can take one now, since you're late. I *think* 2 weeks after suposed conseption is a good time length.

Good luck - whatever youre hoping for!
