For writers or people who love to write?

When you write, what type of writing do you like to do, why and what inspires you to write?

i like writing things i feel or just my viewpoints on the world or people.lately ive been writing a lot about poverty and the children who have nothing while we want more and more than we already have.i really connect with kids like these becuase i have seen them and their lives...its sad..but anyway..this is basically what i write about..and i also like to write short stories about kids who have secrets...sounds weird but i write about that a lot..

I like to write stories, like fantasy especially. I get inspired by the most random things...like today we were talking about drawing or something and I started thinking about how, if a person had never seen another human, they would be the only thing they had to judge by. And what if they had some sort of mutation? What would their drawings look like if they did any? That got a whole flood of story ideas going... I also get ideas from movies and music sometimes, even TV ads sometimes.

what type? sometimes i get inspired by a dream i had. sometimes by an article i read in the newspaper. sometimes by another book that i read. i think that everything you've read since you were a child has an effect on the things you like to write about, whether you like it or not, which is why you have to be careful you don't write something that already exists.

I like to write non-fiction story. There are many different things that inspire me but my life experiences or those of my friends and family are my number one source of inspiration.

It depends on what Im writing. I write alot of love poems. And things of that sort. What inspires me. Is my life. Things that happen in my life. Weather I am feeling greaf and great tradgeity from a death. Or super happiness from falling in love. Whatever happens, ends up on my paper in some kind of form.

I like to discuss and analyze issues that feel important to me..being socially conscious and aware gives alot of fodder for writing~and seeing the wide array of answers to your question, inspiration comes differently to everyone, thats what makes the world spin in an interesting way~

I write about teenagers and their lives really. Mostly poor ones. I just feel better when I write, it is the most fun thing for me to do and I feel so good when I do it! It lets me vent. I've been writing things since I was 10 just because seeing that blank page in front of me gets me so pumped. :)
