You can freeze water inside an take a nail and hammer a decorative design on the sides. Remove the water, paint the outside and insert a votive candle cup and candle. These make pretty luminaries. Have you done a search for "tin can crafts"? You should also look for soda can jewelry. I've seen this site before.

Yes I have.They make a great pencil holder or an organiser for pens,markers brushes,paper knife etc.
Smoothen the edges of the tin and either paint or wrap in some coloured paper.Glue pretty lace on top edge and on the bottom edge.
Use beads,cutouts and stick them to the painted or papered tin.
This is a favourite craft for young children to do,

Yes, as containers which I covered with coragated cardboard and wrapped jute around and glued artificial greenery too. Also have painted pictures on bare can. Also decopaged stuff on a painted can.
