i need help so if you can show me what to do on these problems i would greatly apperciate maybe show me how to do 2 or 3:

4(5n-7)=10n+2

9(x+3)=4x-3

2(12-8x)=x-11x

3t+8(2t-6)=2+14t

2v+18=16-4(v+7)

4x-(9-3x)=8x-1

12(3+y)=5(2y+8)

-7(1-4m)=13(2m-3)

9(11-k)=3(3k-9)

4x+5(7x-3)=9(x-5)

2(6d+3)=18-3(16-3d)

8(4u-1)-12u=11(2u-6

-5(15y-1)+2(7y-16)-y

put a one in front of a variable if it's alone...okay it says to solve equations containing parantheses and having the variable in both sides :)

Just distribute and put like terms on the same side.
For the first as an example:

4(5n-7)=10n+2
Distribute the 4 to both items in the parenthesis.
20n - 28 = 10n + 2
Add 28 to both sides.
20n = 10n + 30
Subtract 10n from both sides.
10n = 30
Divide by 10 on both sides.
n = 3

This is very, very basic stuff, so get it down cold.
FIRST, there is a hierarchy of operations. You multiply out terms in brackets " ( )" before you do other operations. Then when you multiply out, the multiplier must multiply ALL terms in the bracket.
Then you combine "like terms". In these problems, you have 2 "like terms"- terms with variables to the first power and constants. Don't get them mixed up.

Let's try one"
2 (6d+3) = 18 - 3 (16-3d)
You have two terms in brackets to multiply out. This is done first. So.................
12d + 6 = 18 - 48 + 9d [dont forget sign conventions].
Its combine like terms time. While there is no hard and set rule, most people usually like to wind up with a positive coefficient of the variable. This means subtracting -9d from both sides (or whatever gibberish they tell you). Having decided that, the constants have to go to the other side. In this case, -6 is subtracted from both sides. Then, we have 3d = -36. Divide both sides by 3 (or multiply by 1/3), we get d= -12.

The rest are pretty much the same. So go for it.

Gosh, you really expect us to do all of these? How are you going to learn... Let me do one for you and you do the rest...

---> 4(5n-7)=10n+2
---> (4)(5n)= 20n, (4)(-7)= -28 (watch the Negative)
So now, we have ... 20n-28=10n+2
Next step: Move the -28 to the other side.... add -28 (watch the sign) to 2= 30, then move the 10n to the other side... thus, 20n-10n= 20n... so now we have 20n=30.... since 20n means multiply, you need to divide 20 to 30 which equal to 3...
Hence, n=3.... NOW MAKE US PROUD AND DO THE REST... YOU'LL LEARN TOO.. =)

4(5n-7)=10n+2
mutiply 4 by everything which results in 20n-28=10n+2
subtract 10n from both sides and u get 10n-28=2
add 28 to both sides and u get 10n=30
n=3

9(x+3)=4x-3
distrubute the 9
9x+27=4x-3
subtract 4x from both sides 5x+27=negative3
subtract 27 from both sides and u get 5x=negative 30
divide and
x= negative 6

2(12-8x)=x-11x
distrubute 2 24-16x=x-11x
subtract the x from the 11x 24-16x=~10x (~=negative)
add 16x to both sides 24=6x
divide 6 to both sides
x=4

3t+8(2t-6)=2+14t 8 distrubutes so that i give u 16t-48
3t+16t-48=2+14t
19t-48=2t+14t
19t=50+14t
5t=50
t=10

2v+18=16-4(v+7)
u mutiply it by negative 4 so its
-4v+-28
2v+18=16-4v+-28
add 4v
6v+18=16+-28
add 16 to -28(=-12_
6v+18=-12
subtract 18
6v=-30
v= -5
Dang so much( oh well)

All u do is distrubute, get x by itself and ur goood email me for more help, i gotta eat
