Nope, Barry Bonds has the sweetest swing hands down, short and sweet.

Have you ever seen Ken Griffey Jr. swing a bat? That's gotta be the standard that everybody should try to emulate. But, who cares what a guy's stance and swing looks like? Anybody could stand in front of a mirror and swing a bat like Soriano or Griffey, but could never catch up with a 90 mph fastball. Its not how it looks, but if it works. BTW I think the ugliest stance and swing ever is Craig Counsell it makes me want to vomit when he digs in, and Ichiro isn't far behind, but dude ends up with 200 hits every year.

Soriano doesn't have a pretty swing, its an exaggerrated swing and some people like seeing that. I know I enjoy it when players exaggerate on their swings (look at Marcus Giles and Hank Blalock). This was voted on a long time ago on ESPN, and the sweetest swing was Ken Griffey Jr. and I will have to agree. One natural motion, as he swings and just rakes the ball. He has the sweetest and the prettiest swing in all of baseball.
Note: Lefty swings always look sweeter because of its natural motion, I don't know why.
Honorable mention:
Luis Gonzalez - nice flat swing that stays through the zone

soriano is great, but I love watching vlad guerrero hit, cause he hits balls headed for the dirt and out of the strike zone, and he knocks them out for homers, Vladdy is one of the best hitters to watch in the game. Bonds is the most patient hitter in baseball which is cool but Alfonso and Vladdy are aggressive and hit alll kinds of balls in and out of the strike zone.
I love watching ichiro hit by the way, you may think it is ugly but he is very effective. I even enjoy watching nomar go through all of his pre atbat stuff with his gloves, it is funny to see him do all that stuff and then just rip off a ton of hits
Griffey is nice, but the guy is always hurt so you never get to see him hit.
Pujols probably has the best swing in baseball right now, or possibly ryan howard. They are the most pure of the power hitters in baseball right now. And arod is also a wonderful hitter with a ton of power.

I think you need to watch old footage of Ted Williams. He had the best swing and eye in baseball. The Splendid Splinter was the man!

Yeah, he even has a video that you can buy that teaches you how to have a good and strong swing. My dad got it for me for my birthday and my hitting has improved, Also he is an amazing 2nd basemen too.

Sorry man I gotta take Griffey Jr. on this one.
Soriano does have a nice follow through but the initial wing is not that hot.
