I am a 14 yr old model and you do NOT have to live in NY. I also love elitecastingnetwork.com Another great networking site is onetalentsource.com and my other favorite is exploretalent.com
Get some photos of your child...these can be snaps or ones you take yourself and send them to the agencies in your area. For kids the earlier they start, the better..that cuteness factor goes a looooooong way! I love modeling and cant imagine doing anything else..in fact I have a shoot tommorow!

My daughter has wanted to be a model/actress since she was 4 yrs old. (Shes 9 now) I started searching online, and found a few great places, "Star Search Casting" "Elite Casting Network" and "Model Search America" Just be prepared that you may need to come up with money to get to a convention. I would also suggest that you do alot of research online about the business. There is alot I learned from searching that I had no idea and it has come in handy when dealing with the Agents and Talent Scouts. If you would like to talk more, you can email me. Good luck!

Unless you live in New York City, you will only find "scam modeling agencies. If you are not familiar with the industry and know the in's and out of it, you can end up losing thousands and thousands of dollars.

The modeling industry for the USA, is in New York City. This is where the photographers, publicists, magazine publishers, tv and movies are filmed.

If you are serious about your daughter attempting to be a model, she needs to live in NYC.

You can inquire in different books and stuff.... but I wouldn't recommend it. Why push to look like a supermodel when you could just be yourself?
