Just one point.... it is not the government job to do anything for us (that would be socialism)... "Ask not what your country can do for you....." (JFK)... Government is there for our common defense and to act as a liason to other countries on our behalf... as a libertarian, I feel that government has grown beyond it's intended purpose, but that being said.... is is hard to support either of the two major political parties in the US, but if I have to, I choose what I consider to be the lesser of the two evils..... draw your own conclusions and excercise your freedom to vote. Good luck.

Have you looked at the increase in funding that Bush has sponsored for special education? Hasn't he pushed an agenda that requires schools to pay up to $50,000 a year to educate some children whose greatest hope in life would be to get a $10-12,000 a year job. Take a look at the requirements that Leave No Child Behind places on school districts. These are often kids who: have an attitude, don't read, nor do assignments, don't participate in class, are often absent, don't study for tests and generally horse around. Social issues? Isn't Bush the one that is pushing free meds for seniors and universal health care. Isn't he supporting free health care coverage for people earning 500% of the poverty level! Can you believe that this would grant free medical insurance to a family of four earning between $65,000 to $101,000 a year. What do you think these kind of decisions and costs are going to do to the level of education and social services that our nation's people will receive. I'll tell you-the lowest common denominator. Crime? Isn't that up to the individual? Just exactly what do you want Bush to do about crime?

Why do so many working class people support Democrats when they do nothing for average Americans? Unless you are hard of hearing, you should have heard this administration talk about education & social issues. Theyh may not have said exactly what you want to hear, but that doesn't mean they haven't addressed those issues.

You are wrong, Bush talks alot about education, his program "No child left behind" etc.
He talks about Social security and retirement as well.
If you only see him talk on national televised speeches then of course you would only hear him talk about big developments in war etc. but if you would follow his entire schedule for even just one week you will see that he does cover all the issues affecting the people.
Whether you agree with his position on them is another story, but he certainly does discuss every issue often.
Just becasue you dont know what things he talks about that doesnt make it a fact that he doesnt talk about them.

All I ever hear the other side say is that they want to impeach Bush and Cheney. Whom is that helping? If what you're saying is true(I don't agree with you), the other side is doing less for anyone.

Because he does.
Not hard to tell that you don't work.
If you did, you would be enjoying having more money from his tax cuts.
And the Economy is Great. Anyone who wants to work can get a job.
And our IRAs are growing.
And our 401ks are growing.
And our Pensions are growing.
Get a Job, and you'll love Bush.
(And enjoy it while you can. Because the Democrats are going to take it away from you.)

It is all about the money, not caring whom it hurts as long as it is not their family. Some people have been so indulged with making money they just do not care whom it hurts. Those people are making a lot of money and have to roll with the punches just so that they can continue with there standard of living..
