yes, absolutely. animals have feelings. they didn't abandon their children like some of us human did. animals can be loyal too. good example is dog. i've read one story about a very loyal dog with a blind old man. although after the old man died, the dog never leaves the old man's grave.. he just stayed there, as if waiting for his master to come out. the dog remained there for months before he finally died too..right on that grave. =(

i undoubtedly thinks animals have feelings.

The brain is a very complex organ of the body. I can surely say that some animals have a more developed brain than others, the bigger the brain, the more emotionally developed the animals is. Also it depends on the nature of the animal, wild animals act on instinct rather than emotion. There are many factors that could effect an animals emotional intellect. But, I'm very sure animals do feel, and have feelings.

Absolutely! If animals didn't have feelings, you wouldn't see a dog smiling and wagging its tail at you or a deer crying (I've seen it)! If animals didn't have feelings, a monkey wouldn't mind if people are teasing it and making fun of it. And the mother and father deer wouldn't be doing anything while their young is being dragged away. And a dog would simply trot off while its beloved owner dies.
But animals DO have feelings -- a monkey would be embarrassed and sad, the mother and father deer would cry and would try to get their young back, and a dog would be depressed and miserable, and will probably stay by the owner's side.
Animals are just like people -- they have feelings, they have brains, and they have their pros and cons.

Animals have feelings, you can tell if they do or not. Like if it's a fish. Probably not. I mean what can you do to make a fish sad. Dogs do, cats do, and other animals.
Next time make sure to be a little more specific.

Dogs howl or are lethargic at a loss of someone close.
Cats sense your pain or anger and react appropriately.
Pet birds stop singing in the house sensing depression or fear.
All animals feel pain though they can't tell you. That's why the laws of animal cruelty are pretty severe against the perpetrator.

Yes they do. All of my animals react to how I am feeling and they all seem to have a personality as well. They have good and bad days just like us humans.

If you've ever seen a heart-broken mare searching and searching for her lost foal, you wouldn't have to ask. Of COURSE animals have feelings.

And they can THINK too.

A lot of wild animals live on instinct, which isn't feeling.

However, watch a dog and his master interact. Tail wagging, tongue lolling, etc, are all emotion/feelings.

So yes.
