It's better in general for your career to quit in a manner that does not burn any bridges for you. You say they are going to eventually fire you anyway, does that mean you are working on a temporary or contracting basis? If so, it's better to wait that out as you can collect unemployment at the end while you search for a new job.

short term, get fired... you're eligible to convey mutually unemployment. long term, provide 2 weeks word and enable them to comprehend you experience which you're no longer any further being challenged in a favorable way and experience that that's extra constructive so you may be employed someplace else. My suggestion, once you're an adolescent in severe college, and basically worked some months it is not correct. in case you're an grownup who has been on an analogous place for some years ensure you're making your departure tender so which you haven't got any undesirable emotions in case you ever choose them for a reference down the line. additionally it could desire to be proper to basically take a seat with your supervisor and communicate approximately what is going on. something they could the two replace around your place or possibly flow you to a different place that extra constructive suits your information and pursuits. sturdy success.

I think this depends on many things.

1. If you are fired, you may qualify for unemployment. If you quit, you don't.
2. If you quit, you can say on your next interview, that you were looking for other opportunities or things just didn't work out.

Depends on your situation and how much money you have in your bank account.

Depends on the circumstanses of why they might let you go. If it's more of a downsizing then it might be better to stay till they let you go. That way there are no hard feelings.
If they have some reason to want to let you go then it kind of doesn't matter because either way when your next possible employer calls for a reference all they will do is confirm the length of your employment. They kind of can't say anthing else because then you could sue them for something. But if that's all they are willing to say then the next company knows something not so good happened.

It depends on how you feel about the job. If you really think that you could make it for a while with out that job until you get a better one then you do what your heart says to do.
