Legend says that, at birth time, your Sun sign and others are determined out of crafty calculations to find out estimated positions of every huge sphere in our solar system.
You thus get the Sun sign, the Moon sign the Saturn sign and so on. That generates bizarre combos like Aries/Taurus, if, say, the moon is in Aries and the sun in Taurus.
Frankly I don't know if the Sun really moves along the zodiac line. I first thought it was an immobile star. However, if any one agrees that the Moon causes things such as the rise and drop of sea waters on earth, then that individual should agree in part with astrology ------- and by the way recognize that bigger planets than the Moon also play a part on the fluctuations happening on earth. Don't forget we are made of 70% water, and that some chemical reactions involving life also involve water when it's not other liquids.

AN ARIES/TAURUS PERSON, LIKE MYSELF, IS BORN ON THE CUSP OF BOTH SIGNS. THIS WOULD INCLUDE ANYONE WHO'S BIRTHDAY FALLS BETWEEN APRIL 18-22.
SAME GOES FOR ANYONE WITH A BIRTHDAY THAT FALLS BETWEEN THE LAST TWO DAYS AND THE FIRST TWO DAYS OF TWO SIGNS. THEY TEND TO HAVE PERSONALITY TRAITS FROM BOTH SIGNS.
JUST AN FYI: MARCH 19TH THRU APRIL 19= ARIES
APRIL 20TH THRU MAY 20TH= TAURUS

*eent* wrong, sorry, please play again.
April 12th is definitely Aries. I think you are talking about the cusp? Which is the first few days of each sign. The Cusp of Aries-Taurus starts around the 19th or 20th.
