Does anyone know a resturant in Houston Texas where you can get fried green tomatos?

Mark's American Cuisine has them for 19.95
served with crabmeat. Of course, reservations must be made weeks in advance. The rest of the lunch will run about $40 more, without drinks.

Or try: Shade Cafe, 250 West 19th Street, Houston, Texas 713-863-7500

Enjoy!.

Babin's Seafood House. I haven't had them myself, but Babin's has great food in general and a nice atmosphere.

Backstreet Cafe also has a fried green tomato "salad" on their dinner menu. Never had that either though.

You will pay a ton at Mark's. Try Shades. You cannot make them any better than that and it is a bit easier and cheaper to make reservations...located in the Heights. Tell the owner that John sent you.

Babin's is my suggestion as well.

Brennan's has had them on occasion, but I don't believe it's a regular menu item.
