Pi = 3.14 in simplicity.
However it is really an endlessly repeating decimal.
We round it off to 3.14 because of this.

"Simple" is an imprecise term and dangerous to use in mathematics. If you mean an approximate value, say so!
Pi is a non-repeating decimal and can be rounded to as many digits as you need for the problem at hand. The first ten digits are 3.141592654. They can be rounded to 3.14, 3.142, 3.1416, 3.14159, 3.141593, etc.
3.14 is nearly the same as 22/7 (3.142857143).

Pi is the fraction of 22/7 which is improper, so you have to divide 22 into 7, so then it will equal this, but will keep going.
