Who or what are Gog and Magog?

Most likely Russia and/or various central asian republics who were formerly part of the ussr.

The christian point of view is that the russians will unite with various islamic nations (iran, libya, sudan, etc.) in an attack on Israel. When the dust clears, Israel will still be there, the russian/muslim axis armies will have been annihilated.

Gog and Magog are legendary nations that were very popular during the Alexandrian era. They can be considered the same as the kingdom of Prestor John, or Shambala, or the city of Atlantis. They are the terra incognito, the unknown lands far beyond.

In more recent times, various people have tried to tie them to actual places on the earth. There's no reason to believe that they are Russia, China, India, etc. In Revelation, they may symbolically represent some actual places that were beyond the Roman Empire, possibly involved in a conflict with Nero (who's number is 666).

The Dajjal (False Messiah/Antichrst) will be a short man, with very curly hair, and one eye floating like a grape (deformed). He will appear on the way between Syria and Iraq, and will create disaster left and right.The Jews of Isfahaan(IRAN) will be his first followers until he arrives in Israel. Apart from having mainly Jewish followers, he will have a great number of women followers as well.

Allah will send Esa (Jesus), son of Mary, to Join the Muslims and their leader the Mahdi . Jesus will descend to the white minaret in the east of Damascus, wearing two garments dyed with saffron, placing his hands on the wings of two angels. When he lowers his head, beads of perspiration will fall from it, and when he raises his head, beads like pearls will scatter from it. Every kafir who smells his fragrance will die, and his breath will reach as far as he can see. He will search for the Dajjal until he finds him at the gate of Ludd (the biblical Lydda, now known as Lod) where he will kill him.

'Then a people whom Allah has protected will come to Jesus son of Mary, and he will wipe their faces (i.e. wipe the traces of hardship from their faces) and tell them of their status in Paradise. At that time Allah will reveal to Jesus: "I have brought forth some of My servants whom no-one will be able to fight. Take My servants safely to the Mountain of at-Tur."

'Then Allah will send Gog and Magog, and they will swarm down from every slope. The first of them will pass by the Lake of Tiberias, and will drink some of its water; the last of them will pass by it and say,'"There used to be water here".

'Then Jesus and his Muslim companions will pray to Allah, and He will send insects who will bite the people of Gog and Magog on their necks, so that in the morning they will all perish as one. Then Jesus and his Muslim companions will come down and will not find any nook or cranny on which is free from their putrid stench. Jesus and his Companions will again pray to Allah, Who will send birds like the necks of camels; they will seize the bodies of Gog and Magog and throw them wherever Allah wills (some reports are of a large lake).

Then Allah will send rain which no house or tent will be able to keep out, and the earth will be cleansed, until it will look like a mirror. Then the earth will be told to bring forth its fruit and restore its blessing. A cow will give so much milk that a whole tribe will be able to drink from it.

‘Eesa (peace be upon him) will help rule the earth as a Muslim and according to Islamic sharee’ah, until he dies and the Muslims offer the funeral prayer for him.” He will be buried next to Prophet Mohammed where a site has been reserved since before 700 A.D.
