I have no proof that it was a rip off.
What's wrong with people here voting for the wrong people. The finals 2 should have been Melinda and Jordin. As a talent show, Melinda is the AI.
I hope America will not do that mistake again. For example, they put GWB twice in the WH.
It was Blake's night to go home.

Anyone with a lick of sense would think that.Unfortunately she wasn't jerky enough (like Blake) to stay.It's all about the money.They had over 60 million votes last night.That's alot of money for the phone company.It will never be the judges that get to decide,but that's the way it should be.Last years choice was a joke too,but Katherine didn't jump around the stage like a monkey,so she didn't win and she was clearly the better singer.Taylor's career went nowhere.Big surprise!!

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just asked the same question a minute ago. she was the best singer American Idol has ever had and she was gonna win the whole thing! she's been my favorite from the beginning! i even remember her audition! i have loved her and her cute personality and she should not have gone home last night. they need to find a way for the judges to have a say in who stays and who goes because we can't count on people to vote for those who can actually sing. next year's idol better have something different about it because their system is seriously messed up!

Me!!! Blake should have gone off. He is a good beatboxer but he can't sing. Jordin and Melinda should have been the top 2. I would have been happy if either of them won but I love Jordin the most!!!

I was surprised. I think she really was the best singer. Simon did too. The fact that she was a professional back up singer, might have had something to do with it. Some people thought that an armature should win.

Most definitely -- she was the best singer. But don't feel too bad for her. Finishing third instead of second or first won't effect her future career in the slightest.

YES. there has never been a better singer, not even Carrie Underwood whom I adore. She will probably still get a record deal though!
