I think Peter should make replicas of the black costume without Venom and wear it permanently. It will be just like his dorky lame blue and red costume and the only difference is black. I say throw away that dorky lame costume and take a ride to the dark side. And I didn't see the movie. I will see Spider-Man only if he wears the black costume without Venom. And none of that, "Hi I am your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man crap!" He should be feared by the criminal minds and everybody else. He should be dark and mysterious like a deadly spider hidden in shadow waiting for his next victim.

He should give the serial killers and criminals a image of a fearsome Spider-Man rather than that friendly goody two shoes Spidey.

No way it would go against all the comment books made on Spider-man.

See the movie.

Spidey's a New Yorker, hence the cheesy catchphrase, they love him for it. Besides Peter's not cool (except to other nerds, like me) so he's going to have a nerdy catchphrase!

Remember how it was in the second movie when they didn't like him so much? He needs the city on his side!

I just watched that movie today (loved it), and something tells me that Spiderman will never wear black again.

PS: As much as I love Spiderman, I do not love the phrase "your friendly neighborhood Spiderman". = P

He is feared by criminals. They know he can kick some ***. If he had the black suit, people would think that he was evil and they wouldn't want him there anymore. I think you should see the movie, first.
