Spinning off the interstate in Lousianna. Some idiot cut me off, I had to swerve left, hit a cars front bumper and skidded backwards off the interstate. My sons were 3 and 1 1/2, and the 3 year old yelled "Can we do it again mommy!"

I was a passenger in a VW beetle and we had left a pool hall and had been drinking a lot. The driver passes out over the wheel and we careen into a deep irrigation ditch on the side of the road. We should have all been killed. We lucked out as there was a steel cable enforcing a utility pole and the cable cut into the fromt of the car about 12 inches. We were only a few feet away from an irriigation conduit that would have killed us all. Some 6 hours later I had a delayed reaction and blacked out for several minutes.

Prom night I let my just-licensed 16-year-old boyfriend drive my Dad's car. Lost control on a beltway on-ramp and went head-on into guardrail. Of course, I had just taken off my seat belt (so I could take my shoes off!) so my head went into the windshield, cutting and brusing my scalp and forehead. Bruised ribs on the dashboard and shoulder on the windshield. All in all, I was not seriously injured, but that is the worst accident I've ever had...Was it my fault? Well, sort of, for letting the inexperienced goober drive. My father was not too excited about this.

Plowing into a herd of deer in my car then getting rear ended by the idiot behind me. It was not my fault. The other guy had to pay for the damages to the back of my car. He knocked my entire muffler and exhaust pipe out and destroyed my rear bumper. He hit me so hard that the car stereo ended up in my lap.

No injuries though.

When I was pregnant with my daughter, an elderly lady made a turn in front of me. I swerved to try and miss her and hit the back right side of her car. It just sort of pushed her car over a little and I went spinning. Everyone was fine and she barely had a dent in her older Chevy (built like a tank). My front end was smashed but good. Her insurance paid...and all is well!

We where going thru a fall festival parade in a horse and cart and it started raining and a car whent by really fast spooked the horse it ran away with us I fell out on the pavement and cracked a vertabra 7 years ago and it still hurts.My fault I knew the horse was only green brock but my husband talked me into it. never again.

I totaled a friends brand new Iroc Z28 back in 1985. Yes, it was my fault. I was trying to pull out onto the highway and didn't see a car that hit me broadside. TOTALED the car. My friend was in the Navy and out on a cruise at the time. I had permission to drive the car but he forgave me.

I was with my friend, and we were going to the beach....we were goofing off in the car and hooting at guys ( we were young and stupid) she was not paying attention and rear ended the car in front of us. I wasn't wearing a seat belt (of course..due to stupidity....) and smashed my head into the windshield. I cracked the windshield and my head. We didn't go to the hospital....and a good time was had by all...lol.

I ran my car into a 3 compartment Texaco gas tanker in 1977. Caught fire immediately...Busted my head,burned hair off,burnt arm and leg.Had glass in skin all over. They ticketed me with failure to stop in assured amount of distance.
