Well, the obvious answer is to work harder and bring up the mark. You still have time before school lets out. Ask your teacher for special help. Also, ask if you get all your homework turned in will that be enough to bring your grade up. You must know why you are getting the D. Is it laziness? Is it that you don't understand that subject? Do you not turn your homework in? Do you not participate in class? You must be a good student if your other grades are up. You can do it if you put your mind to it! Good luck! I hope you get to enjoy all of the summer!

Ask your teacher if there is anything you can do at this time to raise that grade to a "c". If not and it is too late, then you will have to accept that your summer is not going to go the way you had hoped and make the best of it. It won't be the first time in life things don't go the way you want and it won't be the last, either.

Enjoy what you can about Summer - one day there won't be any more summer vacations and you will work year round.

I would ask ur teacher if there is anything u can do to bring up ur grade. I know my teacher gave me my make-up work and I got a B in that class. Im sure if u try hard for the rest of the year u can pass with at least a B or C. Good luck!

Isn't it terrible how the teacher gave you no indication all year that you weren't doing very well in that class? Now it's their fault you will have to stay home all summer. I would complain to my parents if I were you!

Make a deal with your parents to study harder and get higher grades. Promise your parents that you'll never get below a C again. Prove to your parents that you're a hard-working, dedicated student and you might earn their trust.

I don't know.
I've gotten a gazillion Ds on my report card.
It's terrible.
But what can you do.
I'm sure the year isn't over for you?
Right?
Well, if it is,
then you should just be like..
"I'll try harder next time. I promise."
But, if that seems lame, just except the consequences.
