I was on the top floor of a 27 floor building when lightning hit the roof above our heads. Scared the heck out of me. The lightning disapaited down the side of the building (like it is supposed to) and there was an erie blue glow outside the windows. I also saw a tornado in the distance during a storm - that was freaky too.

I not say I was scared! Ha! But, about 15 years ago the house I lived in, the Transformer was not far from the house. One night the Lightening hit the transformer and it shake the house, Light blazed everywhere and Sparks were flying. I tripped and jumped from the couch. For about an hour I just walk around in the middle of the room away from everything. The next day, my Microwave was blown, Cordless Phone was gone and of course I had no electric, but, I was "Not" scared, Ha!

When I was 9 years old, I was taking a nap on the couch and a big storm started. I was still asleep -- guess I must have been really tired! Anyway, suddenly lightning struck the big old cottonwood across the street from our house! Split it into smithereens -- it sounded like a bomb went off. I woke up screaming, and the cat got so scared she ran right across me and clawed me across the face trying to get away and hide. We didn't even see her until some time the next day, she was so freaked out. So was I!

When I was about twelve I was standing in the back door of my parents house watching a thunder storm. Suddenly a bolt of lightening struck a piece of iron that was laying about thirty feet away. It was like something out of a loony tune. I've been fascinated with weather ever since. Nothing like a little nasty weather to get me pumped.
