Imo's pizza is the best. If there is one nearby I would give that a try.

If you are looking for a chain, St. Louis Pizza and Wings has hands down the best St. Louis style pizza. Otherwise head to the Hill, pick a restaurant with a brick oven and enjoy.

I really like Talayna's New York style pizza. They make 2 or 3 different styles. There a few different locations. They have house salad dressing is wonderful too. I prefer the Talayna's by Forest Park on Debalivere location. They're all good. The thing that makes Talayna's pizza so good is that they still use the old fashioned ovens instead of those convection ovens that most of the chains use. The pizza tends to come out kinda chewy from those convection types. It takes a little longer to bake in the old fashioned type, but well worth the wait at Talayna's.

Anywhere on the Hill. I haven't been there but I'm told Ciceros in U City is good too. As for St. Charles Co.....there's IMOs, Bellacinos (awesome grinders too!) or even East Coast Pizza out in Chesterfield is pretty good. It's in that giant Chesterfield Commons area they just built off of Hwy 40 near the mall. My ex took me there a lot cuz he's addicted & swears it's the best ever. LOL.

You could also try citysearch.com
They have "best of..." lists I believe & you could most likely find a list of top pizza places.

Talayna's is THE #1 FAV. We love it! Fortels is okay-i'd rate it about a 7. All the restaurants on "The Hill" in South St. Louis City are wonderful - not a bad one around. As far as DELIVERY goes, we pick PIZZA HUT as #1 and Elicia's and Imo's come in 2nd. "Yuuuuck" to Dominos and Papa Johns.

Dewey's Pizza on Kirkwood Road. I think there may be more locations. I enjoy them in Ohio and am from St. Louis so it's my favorite pizza like home away from home.
Go for the Green Lantern pizza!
Nobody else comes even close.
Nobody.
Not even Imo's and I was a longtime fan.
