The more I hear and read(which I always do), about the so called big bang, the more ridiculous it seems. How could nothing, not even space, have not existed except in a pinpoint speck that expands with great energy and creates everything after that. This would imply that there is a center of the universe. In a universe that is, as I see it, endless in any direction, there can be no center point. And if the universe ends, is there a fence or wall to keep wayward space travelers from falling off the edge. Oh, but that would imply that there is more space to fall into, well damn, I guess it can`t end after all. Gosh, I feel like Columbus.

Ignore all that stuff about God, gods by nature are metaphysical and therefore are neither provable or disprovable by man (as much as I hate to say it). Sticking to scince for a moment, the big bang is a theory which fits what we have observed of the universe around us, and just to clarify it wasnt an explosion, just a sudden rapid expansion of energy. Its usually christians who sucked at physics who make that mistake. The theory says that if the big bang didnt happen there wouldnt be 'anything', the big band wasnt just an explosion in space, before the big bang there was no space for anything to explode IN. Imagine every atom in all of existence being crammed into a point so infintley small it cant be measured, in that point is everything that will become the universe, you might have heard that energy cannot be created or destroyed, same rule applies. Then for reasons not yet understood this point began to expand outwards, and within it things like atoms began to form, what we call the 'laws of physics' came into effect. Fast forward about 14 billion years and you have planets, stars and even biological mush that is only just smart enough to question its own existence, amazing, true. Miraculous....I think not. To be fair im not saying that there couldnt have been 'something' before the big bang, just that this something would not be 'something as we know it'.

God hasn't/never has and never will create anything. in my humble opinion. science is the only answer, but that's another story.
no big bang?
then, no now?

who knows, there could've been other ways that the earth could have been created, if there were no big bang that took place.

also, where there other planets that were destroyed before/during the big bang?

who knows..... :)

We are the result of the big bang, without it we would not be here.

Did it ever occur to any of you that God is so powerful he created a large explosion to set the universe in motion? Everything and anything is possible if you believe in God. Even (and especially) science. You don't have to take sides.

well i hate to inform u of this but there was never a big bang..........how stupid to think that everything happened b/c of something like that..... God created everything including the universe and outer space and the milky way the black hole and all the planets... God is the creator of everything....
