"The heart is the temple in which all truth resides."

Sounds nice, poetic.

But O God, thankfully, we are more than just emotion. And truth is much more than feeling. Even if feeling and emotion is part of that truth, there is so much more.

Peace

The truth/God resides within the heart/soul of every human. Accessing that level of your being regularly and competently is another matter.

The traditional techniques to connect with that level are meditation, and related practices. To not live from that level of your being usually proves to be unfortunate for both you and those with whom you interact.

A relatively small minority of the species chooses to do what is necessary in order to "operate" properly from that level. That is the reason the species is so dysfunctional and so dangerous to itself, the planet, etc.
