They wawnted to determine if students thought male teachers were more lenient, 8% said they were the same, 6% had no opinion, and the rest of the students said male teachers were more lenient. On the day of the survey, there were 450 students at school. How many said male teachers were more lenient? please i rlly need help

The total response is 100% so:

100% - 8% - 6% = 86%

450 * 86% = 387

387 students thought males teachers were more lenient.

8% plus 6% = 14% either had no opinio or thought they were the same. the rest (100% - 14%, or 86%) thought they were more lenient.
86%, or .86 x 450 = 387

450 * 86%=450* .86=387 students
