Because as rude as people are nowadays, it seems to me like a BUNCH of people disagree with that statement! How about you?

I agree to some extent...
There are nice ways to say things that may be considered "not nice" that need to be said either way. You know? Somethings need to be said regardless of whether they are "nice" or not...we should just do our best to sugarcoat the not so nice things we have to say, there's no need to be caustic, but not everything is pink and fluffy either. 8)

Agree to an extent. Sometimes it's necessary to say something that may not sound 'nice' but it's important for the person to hear it. Sometimes it's best for people to know the truth in some situations. I would never go out of my way to insult someone just because of a need to express my opinion though.

Well, I think I would have to disagree for the most part, because if you are someone's friend and need to critize something, then you should. But I think that statement just means in general, like "don't be an a$s about something if it's not your problem" not specifically.

Agree..... True time are changing but, people who don't find that true are either rude themselves and want an excuse of what thier doing....
Sorry, your not the only one out there that agrees on that statement...
Anyways I'd say what I thought about them but it might include words as illiltrate, ignorant, undiscplined....lol

I agree completely. I think it would be a MUCH better world if everyone abided by this simple but TRUE statement. ALSO the Golden Rule of 'treating others as you wish to be treated.' SIGH

It's fine not to say nice things as long as when someone says not nice things about you, you can take it. Does that make sense? Sorry I got no sleep last night.

i disagree because, a person should fell free to speak his/her minds like i am doing now even it is for better or for the worst or in sickness and in health.

I disagree.

Just because we can't say something nice, it doesn't have to be mean. We could have asked a question, or made a statement.

If it was a rule, we'd mostly all be mutes. Particularly me.
