All western democracies. None is purely capitalist or socialist.

There are NO purely socialist or capitalist countries. There are a few communist countries left--but communism and socialism are two different things.

Mostly its a question of where the emphasisis on economic organization is, rather than a clear cut difference. Swedan is among the countries with the most pervasive socialist institutions. India, France, and some others also have a strong slant toward socialist policies.

Others are less so, of course. Japan has recently moved away from some socialistic policies. Australia and the US are focused more on capatilism.

Many countries are harder to categorize. Canada is much like the US--but does have a national health care system.

One interesting case is China. Nominally they are "communist"--but are in the process of evolving into a capitalist economy. Right now they're neither fish nor fowl. It will be interesting to see how the economy--and the politics--evolve.

The United States, Canada, all the countries in the EU, Russian and the rest of the former Soviet Union and it's former satellites, China. Just about the whole planet really.

There are a few hard-core Communist hold outs, like North Korea and Cuba, that resist liberalizing thier economies.

I don't think there's a state in the world that hasn't experienced at least a little creaping socialism.
