Ricky Henderson is hands down the best there ever was and very likely will be -- especially since the art of the walk and the steal have been generally lost. The other two spots are actually debatable, but they are a far second and third to Ricky's number 1 whoever they are.

1. Rickey Henderson - He did it all. Power, speed, average, everything you want in a leadoff hitter and more.
2. Tim Raines - Got on base a lot, and had speed to burn just like Rickey.
3. Ichiro - If walked more he would of been number two on the list.
