I tend to take the school of hard knocks approach...unless some poor schmuck can make the mistake before I do, then I learn from observation...

It depends on the kind of person that you are. Personally I have to learn everything the hard way because I am a skeptic and will only believe it if I see it. So basically I am not good at taking advice. It is unfortunate that I am aware of this and still cannot change it. Although it has not gotten me into too much trouble......yet.

Unfortunately, I seem to be a very slow learner when it comes to some things. Others I pick up right away. The more difficult the lessons are, the more I appreciate them.
