The real question is whether Packers GM Ted Thompson is staying or going.
Thompson is paying $11 million a year for Favre but won't get him any veteran offensive help and has decimated the offense.
So, who is at fault here? Is it Brett Favre for saying he wanted Randy Moss and more offensive help? Or is it Ted Thompson for paying Favre another $11 million but getting him no offensive help?
Thompson drafted QB Aaron Rodgers in the first round two years ago. So, why does Thompson still think he needs Favre, especially since Thompson has made the offensive talent around Favre worse instead of better?
Thompson has made the decision to pay Favre $11 million to play this year. Why? Because Thompson is gutless and doesn't want to be the one to get rid of Brett Favre but doesn't want to be the one to spend all the money the Packers have under the salary cap to help Favre on offense.
Favre spoke out. Well, maybe some people just want players to keep saying "Mos' definately" and "I'll help the team wherever I can" and "I just have to do what I have to do", blah, blah, blah.
The Packer future is in the hands of Thompson, not Favre. Thompson decides who the team is paying and playing, not Favre.

Favre is defenitly staying in Green Bay, He was just upset that they didn't get randy moss because they had the money. And he just lost his cool and overeacted a bit, later on he told the press he never wanted to leave Green Bay he just got frusterated.

He's staying. The media has once again over-speculated the future of Brett Favre.
Hey Steve. Look at his INT total for the past few seasons. Oh, he threw a lot less last year didn't he? I guess having a better team made a difference, now didn't it?

Staying ... for one last year ... He is getting old and is hoping to make one last run to a Super bowl and retire on top ... Which wont happen this year or next several years for the packers because they are going to have to let Aaron Rogers develop in to a good QB and lead them there......

He's staying. He's just being a little baby about not having a good receiver to throw to.

He's staying. He said that as long as he still has a desire for winning, he is still going to play.

He should go. He's getting old now and is picked off more often I've seen. Isn't like he needs to rack up more money before retiring.
