During the day, I wouldn't wear a little black dress period. Black is more of a night color, something you'd wear to a cocktail party or bar.

You shouldn't really wear black to a wedding anyway. If you really have a need to wear black, find a dress that is a color that is accented with black. There are some cute, short Jessica McClintock dresses at Macy's. They are all light shades (like pale yellow, light blue, pink, etc.) but are accented with black trimming on the top and bottom. They are strapless, too.

Black is really not appropriate for most weddings, though, so you should stick to a color. (but not white!)

You can definitely wear a little black dress to a day wedding! It is the classic dress. If you asked about a long evening gown, then it wouldn't work.

Black is in simple terms effective. i might want to assert 2 different matters could be considered if the marriage is "interior" or "outside" also it relies upon very much on the kind that is going to be worn by technique of the Bride and Groom; those partaking contained in the ceremony. In my case the marriage became outside. So I wore a silky, black, sleeveless gown. The bride and groom were both wearing better informal kinds. So in my case wearing fairly a lot less clothing, with an off-the-cuff type became completely ideal.Oh, and do keep in mind for destiny reference that black absorbs the solar! i rather desire this facilitates. Have large interesting !!!!!

Nope. You might be able to wear it to a evening wedding, but the rule is no. This is the brides day and not yours. You should be respectful and dress appropriate for the event.

You could, if it is a "light" looking style, ie- spaghetti straps, strapless, light floaty bottom, but not if it is something like silk which might be used for the bridesmaids dresses. This is my personal opinion, however and I am sure no one would be rude and ignorant enough to critize your choice of clothing, especially since a LBD is a classic
