Would I get in trouble?

The Constitution preserves the right of citizens to cross borders of the states without needing permission. The only prohibition to crossing state borders of which I am aware is under circumstances covered with an underlying crime such as flight to avoid prosecution, carrying weapons, kidnapping, and others. Last I heard being under eighteen is not a crime. If you are just moving and have parental permission or are emancipated, there shouldn't be a problem. My daughter went to college in Nevada and resided in California.

If you mean simply going to visit, like taking a drive, all you need is a valid driver's license in your home state.

Why would you be restricted in going to another state? You are free to go where ever you which this is not a 3rd world country, lol

You are supposed to be 18 before you can move out on your own.If your parents said it was OK,you could do it I guess.

that depends on your guardian status, as in whether or not you are emancipated, and if you're not emancipated, whether or not you have parent/guardian permission.

if it's yes to either, and you're not out on bail or under house arrest or anything like that, you should be fine.

No, you do not. But, if you are under 18, and not emancipated, you need your parent's permission to do so.
