where is the pause for this in tools internet.options to allow downloads please???

Open tools, internet options, you will see privacy and security. Change them from medium to high if they are already set at medium and you pc will not allow a file to be downloaded.
There is an element of risk with privacy and security set at high. If the file is that important I would set both at high and then go back and reset at medium to keep you on the safe side when surfing the internet.

exchange the protection Settings of your Browser to allow lively X Controls; yet it is no longer a good thought. on the different hand, you could click on "enable lively X to run for this internet site/application" that's safer.

Start with add ons disabled,or lower your security settings,so third partys can use your add ons.
