Bush repeatedly goes on T.V. an says Ill veto whatever this whatever that.
Well, Democrats should go right on T.V. and say we'll continually send him the same bill, until the money runs out -- unless he negotiates a valid fair plan on IRAQ - that includes benchmarks.

Otherwise youre just weak, and you show you dont have integrity.

Whats integrity, doing the right thing, not because you want to be reelected, but because its the right thing to do!

Being a liberal Democrat I'm starting to think the Dems are for not standing up to Bush and his failed policies. It is making me sick to see more american soldiers dying everyday and untold numbers of Iraqis while the Democrats are afraid of Bush and not willing to end this war because of the political ramifications. We should just pack up the Bush administration officials and the US Congress and send them all to Iraq to fight the war they won't stop. I bet it would be over before this weekend.

Democrats don't want to cut the funds off for the troops while they are in harm's way. It's not a question of the Democrats allowing Bush to do as he wants, they simply don't have enough of a majority to force his hand. The presidency is a much more powerful branch of government than the legislature.

The more idiot things Bush says and does and the more corruption that is uncovered the better for the Democrats.

They are just going to let him continue as it is going to be great fodder to throw at Republican candidates next year ensuring a Democratic landslide at both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue.

I'm sorry but the democratic party doesn't have integrity or it wouldn't always be trying to dig itself out of the messes they are always in. Integrity is doing the right thing w/o worrying about being re elected which is what the president is doing.

I dont think of Bush being an idiot. I believe he is doing the right thing - he is sending the right message... Congress does not know military strategy.. but yet they want to try to "blackmail" Bush into accepting the bill when it goes against what America stands for...We fight for what is right .. We fight to protect...We fight for freedom
