Hillary graduated from a prestigious law school, Yale, just at the time when women were beginning to be accepted into the profession. She was always interested in politics and worked as an aide on the Watergate investigative committee before she married Bill. If she had not married Bill it's likely that she would have had either had a very lucrative career as a Wall Street lawyer or a successful career in politics. I doubt that she would've become a presidential candidate, but I think it's not unlikely that she would have become a US senator or Governor by this point.

If you are referring to the coat tails of Bill (BJ) Clinton that Bush rode into the White House on, you are sadly mistaken. It is fact that the country had been heading into a recession as early as 98. This is known for several reasons, but to keep it short, the Airline stocks were plumeting. This is a good sign the economy is not doing well. Since Bush came into office the DOW has been higher than any other time in history, especially the last 3 yrs. Currently at over 13,400 to date. Say what you want about the war, immigration etc. You cannot bash Bush on the economy (except gas). Unemployment is at an all time low, taxes are at an all time low. And the only thing people are really complaining about is gas and healthcare. Neither anyone can do anything about (free enterprise). I for one DO NOT want a government health care system.

Honestly, with her experience in the U.S. government and with foreign affairs, Hillary is probably better qualified for the job of President than Bill ever was. Does that make her the right person for the job? Depends. But you are definitely oversimplifying the problem. Truth is that Bill Clinton never would have become governor of Arkansas OR President if not for Hillary. Either way, whether or not she is good President material is irrelevant to her relationship with Bill.

Hi there
Hillary isn't really a Democrat in the usual sense.
She's heavily committed to the "liberals" and the PCers.
Have you noticed how Gays, Lesbians, feminists, and PCers have all kept their heads down while Hillary is running.
So as not to frighten the "Common People" with what's in store for them when the secret deals are revealed
By the way are there any cats in the White House for Hillary to de-claw (like poor little Socks)?.
Hillary is ordained to beat Obama.Plenty of sobbing, breaks in voice, and tears, and hugs, and "I feel your pain", but Obama is just a sacrificial lamb.

Hillary is just a typical politician. Alot of talking and saying nothing. Alot of vote-whoring all over the country. Alot of money coming in from lobbyists and special interest groups.
Time we got something other than a politics-as-usual vote-whore in the White House! Check out Sen. Mike Gravel's campaign, for REAL ideas and REAL change, which we desperately need.

Hillary has no experience. She's only been First Lady of White House and First Lady of Arkansas. Those are ceremonical positions - not official.
Democrats have to nominate a real leader, Bill Richardson.

Hillary has a lot of experience.
She is a lawyer and a former First Lady of Arkansas.
As senator, she sits on the Committee on Armed Services, the Committee on Environment and Public Works, the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, and the Special Committee on Aging.
