i think we are all in BIG trouble

however organic bee farmers are not having these problems, commercial bee keepers that feed their beed antibiotics, and use pesticides for the lice that infest colonies. this is the problem we all need to become mini organic beekeepers then there will be more bees, we need to do somethin soon

Got loads in my back garden. My neighbour has a hive. Have you got a hive? Maybe if you are so worried about bees you should get one. I was thinking of getting one too. I fancy myself in a beekeeping suit. Do you think my bees would fight with the neighbour's bees? Hmm. I read a great bee book actually. Fiction but factual. The Beekeeper's Pupil by Sara george. It'll answer all you beekeeping questions.

What I think is that you, and the sensational media, have their facts wrong. There is no mass extinction going on. Yeah, population levels have dropped a bit. Just like they sometimes go up a bit.

It's another one of these quirks of nature that the media hypes while trying to link everything they can to global warming. Do note that they are not going to tell you when bee populations stabilize or go back up...they'll just move on to the next gloomy statistic instead.

From what I've heard, bees are disappearing because they do not like cell phone signals.

Very scary when you consider that bees pollinate 80% of our agriculture.

My hubby is trippin' over it! I hope it's not as bad as they say. Some say a tracheal mite caused it, but others said microwave radio towers caused it. :(
