I have a 3.40 OE A PSP and I know that themes can be used... they just are not working, help?

I have been on many of the websites, and I found a particular one which dealt with 3.30 and 3.40 themes. I have followed MANY peoples tutorials, and I can only get the fonts working when I copy the fonts to the fonts directory in flash 0. But the themes just semi-brick my PSP, how can I get the themes working?
