It is possible and to me a better explanation, than aliens from another planet 100's of light years away.

If a time machine came into existence time travellers would expand out to all times and eras, billions of years in the past and billions of years into the future.
The time machine would be the most common travel machine ever invented

Stephen Hawking said it best. He said he would not take a bet against the existence of time machines because his opponent might have seen the future and already know the answer. Who am I to argue with one of, if not possibly THE most renowned physicists in the known universe? It would be SO arrogant of us to assume we are the only intelligent form of life in the universe. I think of life in the universe like streetlights along a long road at night. The lighted spots represent pockets of life. We just have not figured out yet how to get from our tiny pool of light to the next pool of light. There is nothing to say someone from another pool has not figured it out. Maybe someone has, and maybe someone else has also made a time machine. It isn't stupid, not at all. Einstein said that sufficiently advanced technology would appear is if it were magic.

We all like to think time travel is possible.
It would be cool to go back and relive some event in the past or see how the future is.
But I heard a scientist the other day explain that they have concluded that time is something that is "used up", and vanishes away.
Like we have old pics we can look at, but the people, the sky that day, the birds in the trees then, and every condition which made that day unique in time were "used up" at that very moment.
That's why love and the time we spend with others is so important! We all only have a certain amount of time, and then ours is used up. Then we go from time to eternity.
So it is impossible to revisit something which has vanished forever... only in our memory.

It is possible if those alien comes from another parallele universe, but can't definitly come from our own universe, as time in our universe is unidirectional, thus limited in exposure and avaibility, as much as in lenght...
Anyways, would like to meet them some day!

Sure it's possible, but I think it's extremely unlikely. There are a number of problems with the scenario.
