Is wormwood a perennial?

I thought it was but the cashier at the nursery thinks it is not

Yes it is but it`s considered to be a noxious weed in this part of the country. I`d plant it in a pot if I were you or it can take over a whole flower bed in about 2 seasons.

Yes. And not all the Wormwoods are rogues. Some Artemisias like Powis Castle are good garden citizens.
