Everybody, stop and think for a moment:
There are at least 100 to 200 billion stars in our galaxy (Milky Way). If you count all the small stars and hidden ones (could be binaries or close to a big one), you could very easy get at least 400 billion stars in total.
Now, for what we have seen, most stars, if not all, have planets. And we know that Hydrogen is the main element in the Universe, and that Oxygen could be common. Water has been found in our own local planets (gas and solid besides liquid), so it is possible that a big percent of planets out there have water in some form.
If we look at the latest Hubble discoveries, and analyze the data, we can conclude that there are at least over 200 billion galaxies out there. Some supercomputers have calculated over 500 billion already. And that is only what we can see (about 13 to 15 billion light years in any direction from Earth).
So do the math, 500 billion times an average of lets say 300 billion stars per galaxy… that gives you about 15 followed by about 22 ceros (0). That is trillions and trillionms of planets out there. Even if we say that .001% of them have water, still gives you billions. And if we say that only .001 of those could somehow have life, maybe just as bacteria, you still get millions of planets.
Hello! MILLIONS of planets that could probably have at least a small bacteria. And no matter what, a single living cell in another planet is right away an alien. Chances are as you see that somewhere, somehow, there is life swimming around in an alien planet out there.
Otherwise, if we are really alone, then we have in our hands the most incredible cosmological coincidence. To have life in one planet out of trillions and trillions… are we that lucky? I don’t think so.
And we might get the answer sooner than we think as in about 10 to 30 years we will be sending ships to Mars and Europa (Jupiter’s moon), and we think that we might actually find some life on any of them.
If we do find life there, right around the corner, then is obvious, life is going to be a common thing in the Universe.

in case you prefer an extremely logical answer, it is going all the way down to those motives: If answer is not any: Come on, are you able to truly think of that interior the enormous expanse of our area and the close to-infinite volume of celestial bodies obtainable, earth is the only one that helps existence? If answer is definite: Come on, are you able to truly say which you have seen or experienced expert data of honestly alien existence? As for my answer, i even have faith that there is a risk of existence, clever or no longer, outdoors our worldwide. We in simple terms don't have an honestly data of the form yet.

I do believe that there is life elsewhere in the universe. Space dust is made up of amino acids, which are the building blocks of life.

Of course they do exist. We are just way short of the technology to prove it. I always ask if you believe that George Washington existed, of course they all say but they have never seen him. only in books.

I agree with Alex K, with as many galaxies and planets that exist throughout the solar system it's highly improbable that life of some form has developed nowhere else.

No I don't...there is not hardcore proof that they exist, just theories and speculations...
there are photos that show strange lights in the sky, it unidentified, so it's not proven that it's really aliens from another planet or outer space...
If there were aliens from outer space, wouldn't someone seen one or have a body or something by now...why are people hiding them, why keep it from the mass?...

I absolutely do. Well, maybe not ALIENS, but we'd have to be extremely selfish to believe that we were the only living creatures on this planet. There HAS to be something out there living right now. Think about it, our solar system extends FAR beyond what we know.

I believe there are other humans out there in the universe. Never thought of that, huh? ;-)

Sure I think it's likely that there are some life forms elsewhere in the universe. I don't think they've been visiting us though.
