Great pitcher? Yes. Future hall of famers? Yes. One of the best left handed pitchers? Probably. But certainly not the best ever. Here are just two names that I would put in front of Glavine:
Steve Carlton
Warren Spahn

Not to take anything away from Mr. Glavin but he's been lucky to be on some productive teams. The lefties that come to my mind are, Lefty Gomez, Lefty Grove, Randy Johnson, Steve Carlton....John Tudor was an under rated lefty for the Cardinals. Not that he's the best ever. Just never an allstar even. I think you'd have to go with Warren Spahn or Sandy Koufax though.

Did you forget about Warren Spahn, who's only the winningest left-hander and 6th all-time in wins and won 21 games 8 times, and was also wounded during WWII. How about Sandy Koufax? NL MVP, Cy Young, and 2 World Series MVP's? Steve Carlton, Lefty Gomez, and Whitey Ford.....No, Glavine is not the best.

Warren Spahn
Eddie Plank
Steve Carlton
Randy Johnson
Eppa Rixey
Sandy Koufax
Those are all lefthanded pitchers, and all of them are better then Glavine. I like Glavine, but there's no way he's the best leftie of all-time.

No. The best left handed pitcher and arguably the best pitcher ever was Sandy Koufax.

he's a Hall of Famer but definately not the best Left Handed Pitcher ever, Randy Johnson u could pick over him, and pretty soon Johan Santana, and more so he's 1 of top 10 maybe, but definately not the best, top 5 at best

No way! Warren Spahn and Lefty Grove were much better! Spahn won 363 games in his career and Grove won 300!
