Wow - lots of defensive people out there. Well, I know you don't want to admit that 1/2 of you are below average, but that doesn't change reality. Look it up.
Oh, and for those of you asking me if I was "so smart"...... I never mentioned intelligence! :-)

Take 3 people weighing 100 lbs, 200 lbs and 600 lbs. The average weight is 300 lbs and 2/3 of the people in this sample are below average in weight. I think maybe you don't know the difference between average and median.

That doesn't really make sense if it is half are below then what is average? Average would be about half of the people than you would need above and below out of a half so probably a quarter of us are below.

Depends on what "average" is.

ummm... did you know that by average, they include the very low, and the very high? as in, average doesn't always mean half and half. so i guess that you're in the (below average) n%?
