in some ways having imagination with too much knowledge can prohibit creativity. if you know too much about something, you can not pretend it is another way.
knoweldge is power however, the more knowledge you have, the more you can influence the things around, which might force you to get creative.
I think to be truly happy, you should have a balance of both. the check eachother, but you need both to gain true experience.

Yes, you can imagine without knowledge. Look at children - they do not have much knowledge about the outer world, and their imagination is WILD. To think of it, it is usually the people who have a lot of knowledge that do not imagine much. Their knowledge prevents them from imagining the fantastic, such as purple elephants or whatever. This is not true for all people, but sometimes, those with great knowledge do not like imagination.

Imagination is a key that can open doors when it's tapped into and put to use. If we only worked with the knowledge that's on hand we wouldn't find amazing things. Daring to imagine can lead to discoveries and all kinds of great things. Imagining is a liberty.

Yes, you can. And also, you cannot have knowledge without imagination. And Mr. E. was right, knowledge is limited, but not imagination.
Imagination is the real and eternal world of which this vegetable universe is but a faint shadow. What is now proved was once only imagined....WB.
Good luck!

HMMMMM imagination leads to knowledge and also vice versa. If your imaginations are based on concrete scientific and verifiable data sure it will lead to tonnes of knowledge else it would be a wild dream.
If the knowledge is solid then the imagination will lead to optimum utilization of the same and results would be fructifying.
Albeit u can have imagination without knowledge then the experience is called FANTASY.

Yes....you can imagine anything you want to...doesn't mean it's based upon solid evidence, or accurate knowledge, but that doesn't stop a person from thinking, dreaming, or imagining. Didn't a great deal of what we now call "knowledge" come from people daring enough to imagine?

Yes, of course. How else would humans conceive of things never seen before? Think of all the great inventions of the world. They started in the imagination.

Hello:
Imagination is independent thought. That is, the ability to 'invent' situations in ones mind.
Knowledge is the assimilation of information.
If you watch baby or child at play you will realize that a lot of what they do comes from their IMAGINATION and not from knowledge.
I hope I have spurred your imagination....
