What does the American Flag make me think of?

The countless people who paid the ultimate sacrifice so others could have the freedom of expression to burn it, scream profanities at it, spit on it, and otherwise deface it. All the while, it's regality never waivers as it waves in the wind as a beacon of justice and freedom for all who need shelter from oppression.

well the 13 stripes represent the first 13 colonies. to me it means that our country was founded by people who where not afraid to question the status Que. It stands for our individual freedoms and the people who where not afraid to fight and die for those freedoms. Our country was founded on some very radical ideas and we as Americans continue to push the envelope every day.
