I am a believer in God, I believe that he is the supreme creator, and that he sent his son to die for our sins. I am not going to try to change anyone's beliefs here or beat anyone over the head with my Bible, I just want to share my belief. But let me ask you all this, why don't you believe?

The question presumes an "either/or" response.
My own view is that, in the strictest sense, we cannot know.
I don't accept as truth anything that can't be objectively proven, nor do I dismiss what can't be disproven, and since metaphysical questions cannot be put to any objective test, I can't answer the question of the existence of a supreme being one way or the other.
